A junta fighter jet was shot down by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) resistance group at noon on Tuesday while bombing near the junta’s Kan Dauk police station in Pale Township, Sagaing Region, which has been under attack by resistance forces. The aircraft crashed onto a village monastery and a pilot’s helmet and skull were reportedly found in the debris.
