Burmese living in Singapore now have another option for sending money back home, with the introduction of a remittance service to Burma by Singapore Post (SingPost). In a statement, the public company said that it would offer the service at all of its branches. Transferred funds can be sent to any one of four Burmese banks partnering with SingPost: Asia Green Development Bank, Cooperative Bank, Kanbawza Bank and the Tun Foundation Bank.
