The Thai firm Italian-Thai Development will this week cease to play a role in development of the Dawei Special Economic Zone, The Nation newspaper reports. “We’re now closing our camp at the Dawei site and have been asked to stop operations and leave there before November 21,” a source close to the project was quoted as saying.
