An appeal hearing in the case of Phyo Wai Aung, an engineer sentenced to death on May 8 for allegedly carrying out a series of bombings during Burma’s Thingyan water festival in April 2010, was postponed on Tuesday. Phyo Wai Aung, who is suffering from liver cancer, is currently receiving treatment at Insein Hospital in Rangoon.
