India Now Has World’s Second-Highest Number of COVID-19 Cases, Overtaking Brazil

NEW DELHI—India overtook Brazil in terms of total confirmed coronavirus cases on Monday, becoming the world’s second-worst-affected country after the United States.
The dismal landmark came just two days after the world’s second-most-populous country, with over 1.3 billion people, reported that its novel coronavirus cases had surpassed 4 million.
