Mongolia’s President Ts. Elbegdorj ended a three-day visit to Burma on Wednesday, reports Infomongolia.com. It was the first time that a Mongolian president had visited Burma since the two countries established bilateral ties in 1956. During his visit, the Mongolian leader held talks with President Thein Sein and other senior officials and met with opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi. On Nov. 18, the two presidents signed an agreement granting visa waivers to official and diplomatic passport holders of both countries. On the final day of his visit, Ts. Elbegdorj delivered an address at Rangoon University on the theme of “Reform Experience in Mongolia.”
