A new “exclusive” train running on Rangoon’s loop line went into service on Friday, reports DVB. Tickets for the six-carriage train, which can carry up to 648 passengers, will be 300 kyat, the report said. “It will depart from Insein to Rangoon at 5 am, then back to Insein from downtown Rangoon, then from Insein to Hlawka. It will circle round the city four times,” said Htun Aung Thin, the general manager of the Myanmar Railway Enterprise. The train will stop at all 39 stations along the 45.9 km route.
