Police in Kuala Lumpur say they are investigating a fire that killed one Burmese national and injured another, reports the Malaysian daily The Star. The fire broke at around 3:30 am on Wednesday and destroyed the makeshift container home where the two men, both aged 28, were living. “We found some evidence that shows that the fire was set on purpose, causing the death of the Myanmar national,” said Khairi Ahrasa, the acting chief of the city’s Criminal Investigation Department. The motive for the fire, he said, was related to the parking lot where the container was located. He added that police would be making an arrest n Thursday.
