A 24-year-old Burmese woman working as a domestic helper has been arrested in Singapore in connection with the murder of her elderly employer, reports Singapore-based Channel News Asia. At around 5:23 pm on Tuesday, police received a call requesting assistance at the Springdale Condominium in the city-state’s upscale Bukit Timah district. When they arrived on the scene, they found the motionless body of an 87-year-old Chinese woman with blood on her upper body in one of the condo’s unit. The woman was pronounced dead by paramedics soon after. The case has been classified as murder and police are investigating, the report said.
