Burma will allow Filipinos to enter the country without a visa following a deal signed on Thursday, reports Philippines news website Rappler. President Thein Sein is on a three-day visit to the Philippines, where he met with Philippines President Benigno Aquino III. According to Rappler, Aquino told a joint press conference the deal would “granting Filipinos who are holders of ordinary passports visa-free entry to Myanmar for tourism and business purposes.” The report said the Filipinos can enter Burma for up to 14 days without a visa. Burmese nationals are already allowed to enter the Phillipines for 30 days, it said.
