The All Burma Students Democratic Front (ABSDF) and the Burmese government met in Rangoon earlier this week for talks aimed at ending more than two decades of conflict, but ABSDF representatives from the group’s northern region were not included, according to a report by the Shan Herald Agency for News. The northern region representatives were unable to attend the talks because the government did not provide travel arrangements for them, the report said.
