Burma and three other Southeast Asian countries situated along the Mekong River reached an agreement in Vietnam’s capital last week to cooperate on boosting tourism in the region, according to a report by Travel Daily News. To reach a target of 25 million international visitors from 2013 to 2015, the four countries are also considering implementing a single CLMV (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam) visa, the report said. The proposed visa could also later include Thailand, which is currently thinking of issuing a shared visa with Cambodia.
