A video released by the Tawgyi Mwebwe resistance group shows military motorboats being ambushed by combined resistance forces triggering underwater bombs in the Irrawaddy River in Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region early on Monday. Military personnel were using the boats to extort civilians in the river. During the ambush, five junta soldiers and police officers including army Captain Aye Win Tun were killed, the resistance group claimed.
