China’s Huawei Deepens Ties With Europe’s Top Telecom Firm: Reports

BEIJING—Huawei Technologies Co. has deepened its business cooperation with Europe’s largest telecom operator Deutsche Telekom AG despite US security warnings about the Chinese tech giant, media reports said Thursday.

Germany’s Handelsblatt reported that Deutsche Telekom had agreed with the Chinese company to accelerate the introduction of “US-free” Huawei equipment, citing internal documents obtained by the business newspaper.
