Business leaders from the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh arrived in Burma this week to attend the second Northeast India-Myanmar Business conclave, according to The Times of India. The delegation met with the chief minister of Mandalay Division, Ye Myint, on Monday, and was told about plans to establish an industrial park at Myingyan, about 30 km from Mandalay. “Very soon, sustainable rules and regulations will be implemented. Investors from abroad will be encouraged to take part in Myanmar’s trade and commerce,” Burmese Agriculture Minister Myint Than told the group.
