The Asean 100 Leadership Forum, slated to take place in Burma later this year, will include Burmese opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi as one of its participants, according to Singapore-based AsiaOne News. Suu Kyi will deliver a speech at the event, which this year will be held in Rangoon on Dec. 5-6 and have the theme, “Turbulent world. Asia rising. Where do we go from here?” The event is organized by Asia Inc, a Singaporean magazine that focuses on business in Asia. The company’s chairman, Dato Paduka Timothy Ong, visited Suu Kyi on Aug. 16 to confirm her participation.
