Nan Khin Zay Yar, the 24-year-old winner of this year’s Miss Myanmar contest, will shoot her first commercial on Wednesday for the Loi Hein soft drink company, according to a report by the Weekly Eleven journal. The ethnic Pa-O woman attracted intense interest earlier this month as a contestant in the Miss International beauty pageant held in Okinawa, Japan. She was the first Burmese national to take part in the contest in more than 50 years. With the support of fans in Burma and around the word, she won the Miss Internet award with a total of 20 million online votes.
