Malaysian engineering company Mudajaya Group Bhd has signed an agreement with the Mandalay Division government in Burma to facilitate the construction of a coal-fired power plant and solar-powered plants, Malaysian newspaper The Star reports. “Mudajaya will prepare a feasibility report/proposal and submit it to the government of Mandalay within nine months,” Mudajaya told The Star, adding that it would partner with Malaysian partner Koon Yew Yin in the project study.
