Eight men identified as Burmese nationals were arrested by Malaysian police in the city of Puchong, located about half-way between Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, the country’s administrative capital. The men were accused of intimidating 17 local law enforcement officers who were inspecting an unlicensed business selling pirated VCDs and DVDs and offering illegal Internet access, according to local media reports. They were later arrested at gunpoint by another police team for threatening the officers with knives and other weapons.
