SINGAPORE—Singapore received its first batch of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, becoming the first country in Asia to receive the shots.

“The first shipment of COVID-19 vaccines landed in Singapore this evening,” the government said in a short statement.
