Aung San Suu Kyi is expected to arrive in Ireland’s capital Dublin on Monday for a six-hour visit to receive several accolades. First she will deliver an open-air address and receive the freedom of Dublin city, awarded to her 12 years ago. Later, she will be presented with Amnesty International’s prestigious Ambassador of Conscience award at a special tribute concert staged by rock star Bono and fellow aid campaigner Bob Geldof. Also on the agenda is a ceremony to receive an honorary degree from Trinity College Dublin.
