BBC Symphony Orchestra | April 3

Members of the BBC Symphony Orchestra UK perform in Rangoon for the first time, along with the Orchestra for Myanmar (OfM) and the New Children’s Choir (NCC).

Anniversary of Myanmar Federation of Persons with Disability | April 1

Centenary of Journal Kyaw Ma Ma Lay | April 1-4

The centenary of Journal Kyaw Ma Ma Lay, one of the greatest Burmese writers of the 20th century, will be held at the University of Nursing. Portraits and photos of renowned Burmese writers will be shown as well as the writings of Journal Kyaw Ma Ma Lay.

Bonsai and Burma’s Orchid Show | March 31-April 2

The show features more than 100 species of orchids that bloom in Burma in the summer as well as bonsai trees.

Natural Resources and Harmonious Society Cartoon Exhibition | March 31-April 2

Forty cartoons by 40 cartoonists will be featured on the themes of resources and harmony.

Shwe Daung Circus | Thurs-Sun through April

Shwe Daung Circus has been performing in Rangoon since February and will continue until the end of April.

Art Exhibit and Charity | April 1-9
