Elected lawmakers say that the junta will use the revenue from oil and gas sales to continue their human rights violations in Myanmar

Dr. Sa Sa says he is proud of the charge, calling it a declaration of war on federal democracy, freedom and justice by the regime.

In a statement, the group of elected lawmakers said officials must stop collecting revenue for the state as the military regime is using it to fund lethal crackdowns.

The committee representing the ousted National League for Democracy government says violence against protesters and mass arrests constitute terrorist activity.

They rejected the military regime’s cabinet as illegitimate and condemned the coup as a ‘criminal act’ against the Union government.
