Burmese television channel SkyNet will begin airing US wrestling shows this month after it recently signed a three-year broadcasting agreement with US firm WWE Inc., Television Business International reports. Burmese viewers will have a chance to appreciate programs such as Monday Night Raw, SmackDown, WWE Main Event and WWE NXT on SkyNet Sports 3 and SkyNet Teen channels. It is the first time that WWE, which attracts tens of millions of viewers across the world, is aired in Burma. “Joining WWE to bring their world-class entertainment to the people of Myanmar is a significant addition to our expanding portfolio,” said Win Naing, executive general manager, SkyNet TV.
