A witness in the trial of four reporters and an editor of the Unity Journal said he saw no signs banning entry to the military facility in Magwe Division’s Pakokku District, Eleven Media reports. The journalists were arrested in February and accused of trespassing and violating the State Secrets Act following a visit to the installation. Unity published a story alleging that Chinese engineers are helping the Burma Army build a chemical weapons factory at the site. However, during the seventh hearing in the case, Myo Ko, a driver, said there were no signboards on the premises banning entry or taking photographs.
