Two Burmese women living in Malaysia have been found murdered in Butterworth on Monday, Bernama reports. The two victims, known reportedly as Than, 41, and Htay Htay Than, 21, had stab wounds on the body, face and neck. A Malaysian man had heard the women screaming shortly after midnight Monday and found the women in a bush near a road in Kampung Setol, Penang Police Criminal Investigation Department Chief Mazlan Kesah said. Two Burmese men in their 30s were arrested as suspects, the officer said, adding, “The two men were caught based on information from a witness who saw them in the area.”
