Thailand will provide Burma with 60.5 million baht (US$1.9 million) to help its neighboring Southeast Asian nation prepare to host this year’s Southeast Asian Games, the Bangkok Post reports. The aid will include trainers in management and 14 different sports, as well as IT equipment. Burma’s athletes will alsobe sent to Thailand for 30 days, under an aid package approved by the Thai cabinet and administered by the Sport Authority of Thailand. The games are scheduled to be held from Dec. 11-11. The competition venues will be divided among Naypyidaw, Rangoon, Mandalay and Ngwe Saung in Irrawaddy Division.
