A Thai government task force headed by Energy Minister Pongsak Raktapongpaisal will travel to Burma on Thursday to try to kick-start the stalling Dawei industrial zone project, reports The Bangkok Post. IDC, Thailand’s biggest contractor by market value, has been granted the concession to develop a deep-sea port and special economic zone in Dawei.
