Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said on Monday that Burmese President Thein Sein will definitely pay an official visit to Thailand, although the date has yet to be decided, according to Thailand’s MCOT news agency. The comment came after Burma’s Foreign Ministry announced last Thursday that the president would not be able to travel to Thailand due to unrest at home. Thein Sein was earlier scheduled to attend the World Economic Forum in Bangkok from May 30 to June 1, but then postponed the visit to June 4-5 before putting it off again until further notice.
