The Shanghai Wild Animal Park has sent four sea lions to the Zoological Garden in Naypyidaw under an agreement with Burma’s Forest Department, according to a report by Xinhua. The seal lions—two male and two female—were transported to the Burmese capital over the weekend, the report said. Chinese instructors and local Burmese staff will train the animals, whose performing abilities make them a popular attraction at zoos around the world. Official reports said that the sea lions, which originally came from South America, are the first of their kind in a Burmese zoo.
