The ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Burma on Tuesday handed over a cheque for US $1 million to the Rangoon office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to support rehabilitation programs for displaced Rohingyas in Arakan State, according to Arab News. The report said a UN official expressed gratitude and referred to an order by Saudi King Abdullah to provide assistance worth $50 million to the Rohingyas.
