Burma’s second Parkroyal hotel will be opening in the capital Naypyidaw in April, according to an announcement from the hotel group. Pan Pacific Hotels Group, a subsidiary of Singapore-listed UOL Group Limited, currently operates the Park Royal hotel in Rangoon, and said in a statement Tuesday it was expanding in the county “following the success of Parkroyal Yangon.” “Scheduled to launch in April, PARKROYAL Nay Pyi Taw will feature 180 rooms (opening in two phrases) and comprise an all-day dining restaurant, spa, gym, swimming pool and a range of meeting facilities,” the statement said.
