Burma is to host a major investment forum next week in Naypyidaw where bankers, traders, government ministers and even the new US ambassador Derek Mitchell will meet and greet potential investors. The Myanmar Global Investment Forum will be held at the Myanmar International Convention Center on Sept. 12 – 13, and will feature panel discussions focusing on investment opportunities in some of the country’s main industries, including oil and gas, agriculture, infrastructure, real estate, private equity and manufacturing. More than 400 foreign investors are expected to attend.
