More than 900 Burmese athletes are expected to participate in the 2013 Southeast Asia (SEA) Games, Eleven Media reports. The bi-annual regional sporting competition is held in Burma this year and events will be staged in Naypyidaw, Rangoon and Ngwe Saung Beach from December 11 to 22. “Over 900 athletes from Myanmar are going to participate in the games. Among the participating nations, Myanmar will [have] the largest number. Indonesia will come in second in number” of participating athletes, an official from the Myanmar Olympic Committee said. During the 2011 SEA Games in Indonesia, 1059 Indonesian athletes participated, according to Eleven Media.
