Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd, one of Malaysia’s leading agricultural enterprises, plans to develop a complete supply chain of its three main products—palm oil, sugar cane and rubber—according to the Malaysian state-run news agency Bernama. Felda President and CEO Sabri Ahmed said the company will start with a joint-venture rubber plantation on 30,000 hectares of land in Mergui, Tenasserim Division with a local partner, Pho La Min Trading Ltd, and will later expand to other parts of the country. The company already exports palm oil products in Burma through a local distributor.
