Police say they have killed three suspected militants and arrested four others in a raid near Indonesia’s capital. National police spokesman Brig Gen Boy Rafli Amar says two men being sought for a jewelry robbery resisted arrest late Thursday in western Jakarta, forcing police to fatally shoot one of them. The other suspect revealed during an interrogation that the robbery was to fund terrorism activities, leading police to five other members of the group early Friday in Bekasi, outside Jakarta. Amar says two men were killed after drawing weapons on police, and three others were arrested. Indonesia has struggled against militancy for years.—AP
