Indian Defense Minister A.K. Antony will visit Burma on Jan. 22-23 to discuss ways to strengthen defense ties between the two countries, The Times of India reports. New Delhi is expected to allow more Burmese armed forces personnel to attend Indian military academies and may also agree to teach Burmese pilots how to fly Russian Mi-35 attack choppers, which are used by both countries. The visit comes soon after another by Indian Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid, whose trip in December coincided with allegations that India had illegally supplied Burma with weapons from Sweden.
