A Burmese national was crushed to death in the Malaysian state of Johor on Thursday after 100 sheets of glass fell on him, reports The Star, a Malaysian daily. The victim, 22-year-old Thang Ngaih Lian, was killed when he and three other workers were unloading the glass, which reportedly weighed more than two tonnes, from a truck. The man died after suffering deep cuts on his neck, head, and other parts of his body, the newspaper reported. The accident happened in the city of Muar, where local police said that the man’s body was sent to the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital for a post-mortem.
