A Chinese Navy hospital ship dubbed the “Peace Ark” left Rangoon’s Thilawa port on Tuesday after a six-day visit to the country, reports China’s Xinhua news agency. Medical staff aboard the ship received a total of 3,190 outpatients and performed 77 surgical operations, the report said. Special examinations were also performed on 2,766 people. Another 2,982 people were treated at the Myanmar National Defense Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Thanlyin People’s Hospital, Kyauktan People’s Hospital and Chinese Commercial Center, the report said.
