A Burmese man and his Filipino co-pilot were injured when a Cessna trainer plane they were flying crashed into a house in a village in the northern Philippines on Thursday morning, reports Manila-based newspaper The Inquirer. Wen Hiet, 21, of Burma was taking flying lessons with Filipino pilot Paul Tecson Pafultad, 30, when the incident occurred at around 7:20 am Thursday near the town of Rizal in Nueva Ecija Province. Glenn Paraiso Villacorte, a farmer and owner of the house damaged by the plane, was not hurt, the newspaper said. Tecson sustained head injuries after his plane collided with the roof of the house, while Wen Hiet was said to be “in good condition.”
