The commander-in-chief of Burma’s navy, Adm Nyan Tun, arrived in Pakistan for an official visit on Thursday, according to Pakistan’s Daily Times newspaper. Accompanied by his personal staff, Nyan Tun was received at the host country’s naval headquarters by the chief of the naval staff and presented with the guard of honor. The two naval chiefs later held “ detailed discussion on professional matters,” according to the report. Nyan Tun is also expected to meet the Pakistani defense minister and senior military officials in Lahore and Karachi during his visit.
