Burmese authorities on Monday hailed a record US $3.7 million drugs seizure at an illicit factory in eastern Shan State. Police detained nine suspected traffickers with 73 kgs of crystal methamphetamine and 274 kgs of liquid meth along with drug-making equipment and a handgun during a raid on a building in Laukkai on July 9, state media reported.
