Burma’s police force has launched telephone hotlines for the public to call in “tip-offs and complaints over illegal acts, misappropriation and corruption,” according to report in the state-owned New Light of Myanmar. The newspaper on Monday published individual hotline numbers for the national police headquarters and regional and state police stations. “The public may reach the numbers for their information and complaints but are requested to avoid manners causing disruptions to these phone lines,” it said.
