Burma’s first bartenders competition is set to take place next month and the first two winners of the competition will represent the country in the Asean Bartenders’ Championship 2014, organizers said. The competition will be held on June 3-4 at DJ’s Bar in the compound of Inya Lake Hotel, Rangoon. The winners can earn between US $500 and $200 in prize money. “The aim is to choose representatives for the Asean Bartenders Championship,” said Sonny, senior vice president of Myanmar Restaurant Association (MRA), which organizes the event. The 2014 Asean Bartenders Championship will be held on June 20 at the Myanmar Convention Centre.
