Burmese Foreign Minister Wunna Maung Lwin will pay a two-day visit to Manila starting Thursday, according to the Philippines’ Department of Foreign Affairs. The Burmese FM will head a delegation attending the second meeting of the Philippines-Myanmar Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation in Manila on June 14-15. The commission is a political mechanism for the two countries to discuss areas of mutual interest such as political cooperation, trade and investments, education, human rights, agriculture and forestry, tourism, culture and information and law enforcement.
