A British kickboxer has told the judge at his trial in Thailand that he did not deliberately kill a former US Marine he is charged with murdering. Lee Aldhouse of Birmingham has been charged with the premeditated murder of Dashawn Longfellow on Aug. 14, 2010, after being beaten by the ex-Marine during a bar brawl in the southern Thai resort of Phuket. Aldhouse told the court that after the brawl he bought a knife at a convenience store to protect himself. He said he was looking for his lost dog later that night when he was grabbed from behind by Longfellow, whom he stabbed as he flailed behind him. Aldhouse was extradited to Thailand last December.
