Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA) will open a new route between Tokyo’s Narita Airport and Rangoon on Oct. 15. This will be followed by the company’s second new international service of the year between Narita and New Delhi on Oct. 28. An ANA spokesman said the carrier aims to capitalize on a potential increase in demand for indirect flights between Asia and North America via Japan, and so allow the quick growth of its global network. More than 3.7 million passengers currently fly with ANA each month including both domestic and international services.
