Thailand’s 84-year-old king has canceled a planned trip outside the hospital where he’s stayed for more than two years after suffering a brief health crisis. A statement issued by the royal palace said that King Bhumibol Adulyadej had twitching in his right hand and a slightly increased pulse rate on Thursday evening, and that a scan of his brain found bleeding in the outer membrane.
