A large fire sparked by a train accident in Kanbalu, Sagaing Division, has killed 25 people and left at least 62 others injured, according to a report by AFP. The accident happened at around 10 am on Friday, when two petrol tankers loaded onto the train overturned when it derailed. Local villagers collecting the fuel were burned to death in the ensuing blaze, the Burmese Information Ministry’s website reported. It said authorities were investigating the accident and the casualties had been rushed to hospitals in the area.
