South Korea Confirms 145 New Coronavirus Cases; Total Tops 5,700

SEOUL—South Korea confirmed another 145 cases of coronavirus infection on Thursday, bringing the tally to over 5,700.
Of the 5,766 cases confirmed so far, 4,326 occurred in the southeastern city of Daegu, where a shortage of hospital beds is becoming increasingly dire.
